The Bushmaster SuperLight M4 features a 16 inch barrel design adapted from the original G.I. “pencil barrel” profile. When combined with a 6 Position Telestock or a “Stubby Stock”, it makes this model the  lightest Bushmaster aluminum Carbine ever.

Full M4 configuration with bayonet lug and Collapsable stock. 1 in 9 twist rifling, chrome lined 16 inch barrel with an A2 style flash suppressor. The A3 Upper Receiver has an A2 style 300 � 600 meter rear sight system (with � M.o.A. Elevation and Windage adjustments) and with a removable handle the A3 Upper Receiver incorporates a Picatinny configuration mounting rail providing easy attachment of most accessory sights, scopes, or optic devices.

The Bushmaster M4 SuperLight is manufactured of quality gun barrel 4140 steel with a manganese phosphate finish. A telescoping buttstock reduces overall weight, improves portabilty, with quick handling. Forged, lightweight 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers are designed for simplicity of maintenance and reliability of operation and they incorporate all the M16A2 design improvements including cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold-open and raised ridges for magazine release button protection.

A mil. spec. manganese phosphate outer coating insures complete protection against corrosion or rust on both the barrel and all other critical steel parts of the rifle. The M4 is shipped in a Bushmaster hard plastic lockable storage case complete with Black Web Sling, 30 Round Magazine, orange safety block, Instruction Manual and a factory one year Bushmaster warranty.
